Dear Tre Arrow Supporters, Hello all you wonderful people. Sorry it has taken so long to get this newsletter out. There has been a lot going on over these past couple weeks. The “Media as the Judge” tour has finally come to an end after an amazing and whirlwind 5 months! We have met so many of you incredible people along the way and have been inspired by you all. Thankyou so much to all of you who welcomed us into your homes and communities. Your support, knowledge, interest and all that you are doing in your own communities is what has kept us going over these crazy months. Thankyou. In Solidarity, The Tre Arrow Defense Committee

1. Extradition hearings approach!

Tre’s extradition hearings are set for June 27th, 2005. They will take place at the BC Supreme Court in Vancouver, British Colombia. This hearing, which will last for at least three days, will begin the process which will eventually decide whether Tre will be extradited to the United States. We encourage anyone who is able to come out to the hearings and show their support. Lets flood the courtroom with people and let them know that we are watching! Let’s let them know that we won’t sit back and allow them to unquestioningly hand over our friend! If you are interested in being involved in organizing events leading up to and during these proceedings please contact us ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. 2. New VOLUNTEER list serve created ~ VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

The Tre Arrow Defense Committee has set up a new list serve which will hopefully facilitate the delegation of some much needed work to help free our bother Tre. We are hoping that this will bring interest and collaboration on Tre's case out beyond the dedicated, but small, group of individuals currently working on his defense and into the larger movement for change the world over. What is happening to Tre is not an isolated incident. His case holds relevance for anyone who challenges the powerful corporate and state interests that dominate our media, prisons and “justice” systems and which continue to crush voices of dissent. Many of the movements we are already involved in, whether it be working on issues relating to prisons, the environment, food security, police brutality, alternatives to the corporate media, trade issues, border issues, immigration etc… are connected to many of the concerns that Tre’s case brings up. We hope that this will be an opportunity for people to contribute to Tre's case and to work together to build a stronger movement for Tre’s freedom as well as for all those targeted by the state as political prisoners. We are currently only a small group of individuals who are working extremely hard to keep afloat. Your participation in helping Tre in whatever capacity you are able is always much appreciated and very well needed. There are a number of different projects and tasks you can take on, from large to small, from computer based to community based. By signing up for the volunteers list, you are not required to take on a certain number of tasks per month/week etc... but it will give you the opportunity to see the different tasks and projects that are needed and hopefully one of those will inspire you to become involved. We also encourage dialogue with those on the volunteers list to think up and create their own projects.

There are many people asking how they can help brother Tre. THIS IS HOW!!!!!
