What is a nation?

Does it have rights; rights of existence, rights to self-defense, and self-determination?

And, is a nation culpable?

In Occupied-Palestine, a people are being systematically destroyed. Jon Elmer is a Canadian journalist, and creator of 'From OccupiedPalestine.org, a web news site devoted to Palestine.

Jon is currently in Gaza, on the latest of his many stays there, to record the lives, as lived in Palestine today.

Jon Elmer and a departing view from Occupied Palestine in the first half.

And; Where are the millions that were once in the streets?

Why, in the face now of a fascist conquest comparable to any of its vile predecessor manifestations, are there so few willing to stand in the front of the wedge?

Stanley Laham is the author of, 'The Taking of Tigert Hall - Reminiscences from a Bygone Era', an examination of resistance then and now. Stanley Laham in the second half.

And; Janine Bandcroft will be here to brings us up to speed with some of the good things to get up to in and around Victoria in the coming week.

But first, Jon Elmer as recorded yesterday...
