Apart from these people, who sincerely do your nation credit, our overwhelming memory of Canada is one of cars, traffic, parking and the related obesity and unfulfilled communities. It is an impression that we have since shared with other tourists who have visited Canada.

(March 28, 2014, North Bay, ON)- The National Farmers Union (NFU) is pleased to learn that Forage Genetics International (FGI) has decided not to begin selling herbicide-tolerant genetically modified (GM) alfalfa this spring. The company’s decision to delay the introduction of GM alfalfa into Canada was confirmed in the March 27 edition of The Western Producer and is consistent with recent statements made by seed companies in Quebec and Ontario. In 2013, without public input or notification, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) granted registration to several varieties of GM Roundup Ready alfalfa, which means FGI and their distributors could legally sell the herbicide-tolerant GM alfalfa across Canada.

Hey! Here's a Job For You!

Stephen Harper wants you.   He is hiring a high level Green adviser to make sure Canada's climate change policy mirrors the policy being developed in the US.   The job pays $200,000 for a private consultant to track advise and strategize about all aspects of American GHG and pollution emissions

The applicant is expected to go to the US and mingle with personal and business contacts to put pressure on the US decision makers in such a way that Canada has a voice in the US decision process.  In other words you are to do whatever you can to disrupt any policies that would require Canada to take action against Climate Change.

(Dear Barack, I hope you are getting this).
